CNA (part-time, every other weekend)

Providing the best possible nursing care to younger adults with physical disabilities is the main goal of the Inglis House Nursing Department. Currently, we have part-time CNA positions available, every other weekend. As an Inglis House CNA, you will be responsible for the activities of daily living for residents on your assigned unit to include feeding, bathroom assistance and conducting routine nursing procedures. High school diploma or GED, and current Pennsylvania CNA licensure are required as well as at least one year experience.

DIRECTOR OF NURSING SERVICES

Planning, organizing and directing the overall nursing services for the 24/7 care of nearly 300 residents with physical disabilities requires a special person with high energy and great people skills. You will determine staffing needs of the nursing department and assign shift staff as needed to maintain quality care and meet all current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility. You will also analyze and evaluate the provision of nursing and related services to improve quality of care and to best utilize staff time and abilities.

To qualify you must be a professional Registered Nurse with a BSN (MSN preferred) and a valid license in Pennsylvania.  A minimum of 5-7 years supervisory experience preferably in a long-term care facility is required along with excellent communications, interpersonal and decision making capabilities. LPN (weekend positions available - 8 & 12-hour shifts)

Implements the clinical and technical aspects of resident care through monitoring to meet the daily individual needs of residents. Works within the framework of the Inglis House mission and values, emphasizing a team approach. The LPN is responsible for passing medication, performing treatments, evaluating effectiveness of interventions as well as documenting care issues in accordance with Inglis House policies and procedures. Assists with direct care when indicated and utilizes universal precautions and all other safety procedures. Current State of Pennsylvania licensure as a Practical Nurse is required along with demonstrated experience in long-term care.

NURSING SUPERVISOR (3-11 shift)

Providing the best possible care so that younger adults with physical disabilities may be as independent as possible is what Inglis House is all about. We have exciting opportunities for experienced nursing supervisors to join our diverse nursing team to direct and coordinate the work of the nursing staff to ensure the effective utilization of personnel and required resident care. As a nursing supervisor, on either the 3pm – 11pm or the 11pm – 7am shift, you will also be responsible for making rounds to evaluate employee performance and nursing care being provided, offering nursing care when particular expertise is needed, supervising nursing staff units on assigned shift, and occasionally performing duties of administrative supervision. If you have a current Pennsylvania licensure as a registered nurse, one year medical/surgical or long-term care experience and at least three years supervisory experience, we want to hear from you.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MEDICAL ASSISTANT (temporary)

The Inglis Occupational Health Group - which provides pre-employment health assessment, infection control, employee health, workers compensation, wellness and safety - is seeking a full time (temporary) Medical Assistant. If you are currently licensed in Pennsylvania as a medical assistant and have a minimum of five years clinical experience, this position may be just what you're looking for. You will coordinate the Inglis PPD skin testing program, perform post employment offer assessment screenings, manage the Hepatitis B immunization program and support the workers compensation case management program.

REGISTERED NURSE (pool position)

We are looking for RN pool nurses to work with respiratory therapists, nurse practitioners, physicians and LPN's in providing care to residents on specified unit. The RN pool nurse assesses residents daily for clinical, physical and emotional status and documents findings appropriately; maintains adequate resident airways by suctioning and providing trachea care; provides and maintains adequate nutrition and hydration by tube feedings; provides appropriate interventions as ordered; documents all pertinent information; and gives direction to LPN's and CNA's. The RN pool nurse participates in plan of care and assists in all areas of documentation. Current State of Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse is required along with a minimum of one year medical/ surgical or long-term care experience. REGISTERED NURSE - ADULT DAY PROGRAM (part-time)

The Inglis Adult Day Program is designed for people with physical disabilities living in the community to receive stimulating social, recreational and wellness activities outside the home. The Adult Day Program has an immediate opening for a registered nurse to perform assessments for new and continuing participants, assess participants' needs for toileting assistance and assist aides occasionally, monitor changes in health and perform quarterly reassessments, respond to emergencies and provide intervention as needed, oversee staff implementation of dietary procedures and supervise/assist with feeding to ensure safety and compliance with dietary plans, administer medications, and maintain all required documentation to ensure compliance with all licensing requirements. RESPIRATORY THERAPIST (pool position)

At Inglis House, keeping younger adults with physical disabilities as independent as possible so they may pursue their life goals is our main objective. To help meet this goal, we are currently looking for an experienced Respiratory Therapist to perform resident assessments, diagnostic evaluations and provide treatment and care for residents' pulmonary system deficiencies and abnormalities; provide therapeutic oxygen, ventilation support, bronchopulmonary drainage and breathing exercises; and assist with cardiopulmonary resuscitation and maintenance of airways. If you hold a current Pennsylvania license as a Certified Respiratory Therapist, are familiar with needs of people with physical disabilities and are able to work in a team-based environment, we want to hear from you.

PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT

Keeping younger adults with physical disabilities as independent as possible is the main objective of the Inglis House rehabilitation program. We have an opening for a physical therapy assistant to join our rehabilitation team. The physical therapy assistant will be responsible for administering treatments to residents in accordance with treatment plans and physician's prescriptions, recording residents' progress and collaborating with physical therapists on a regular basis, and participating in the modification of treatment plans and assessing the outcome of PT sessions. Current PTA licensure in Pennsylvania is required along with knowledge of various disabilities.
