COMPUTER LAB ASSISTANT (part-time)
One of the favorite therapeutic activities among Inglis House residents is the Computer Lab, which features the latest in adaptive technology that enables individuals with physical disabilities to operate computers hands-free. Inglis House is currently seeking a Computer Lab Assistant to work a flexible, part-time schedule. The Computer Lab Assistant will ensure safe and proper setup of residents utilizing computers, provide adaptive and standard equipment technical assistance to residents, and assist in monitoring and updating technical profiles of residents.

EASI PROJECT ASSISTANT (part-time, temporary)
Inglis Care Management is seeking a part-time (temporary) database project assistant for its EASI (Exploring Access to Services for Independence) project designed to match service providers to the consumer needs of people with physical disabilities in the Philadelphia area.
Responsibilities include researching, entering and verifying accuracy of database information, as well as assisting the Project Coordinator by scheduling meetings, training, and updating database manuals.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and excellent computer skills. (Microsoft Office experience is required; database experience desirable.) Familiarity with community-based programs for people with physical disabilities is desirable but not required.

EASI PROJECT COORDINATOR (temporary)
Inglis Care Management is seeking a temporary database project coordinator for its EASI (Exploring Access to Services for Independence) project designed to match service providers to the consumer needs of people with physical disabilities in the Philadelphia area.
Responsibilities include enhancing and maintaining database information (including researching and verifying community resource information) and developing and maintaining a database user’s guide and training.
Qualifications include a minimum of three years experience in project coordination, community resource/service research or social work. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft office experience, is required; database experience desirable. A degree in social work from an accredited program is desirable. Familiarity with community-based programs for people with physical disabilities is desirable but not required.

ENGINEER I
Inglis House has an opportunity for an experienced Engineer to work at our unique facility that specializes in maximizing the independence and quality of life for people with physical disabilities. The Engineer I will handle all phases of work related to operation, testing and repair of all physical plant operations systems; test and maintain central operation systems, life safety equipment, emergency generators and transfer switches; perform general carpentry, flooring, cement work and interior and exterior painting; submit equipment failures reports and document preventative maintenance reports.
If you have a high school or trade school diploma (or equivalency), five years experience in boiler plant operation - preferably in a healthcare setting, a City of Philadelphia Class A Boiler License, proficiency in working with emergency generator and HVAC systems, and knowledge of Life Safety Code 101, we want to hear from you!

PBX OPERATOR (per diem)
Inglis House has an opportunity for a true "people person" to work as a PBX operator on a per diem basis with availability on all shifts, weekends and holidays. The PBX operator is responsible for the overall operation of the facility telephone system (Mitel SX 2000). The successful candidate must have good verbal skills as well as some knowledge of all technical equipment related to the telecommunications department, including Executone Public Address System, in-house paging system, and long-range pagers. The PBX operator monitors the STAT line as well as fire and security alarms and is responsible for greeting and signing in all visitors and vendors, as well as other duties as assigned. RECREATION THERAPIST
With nearly 300 active younger adults with physical disabilities living at Inglis House, there is a constant demand for new and innovative recreational programs for residents. As an Inglis Recreation Therapist you will develop and run programs that meet the needs, abilities and interests of residents while improving their physical, cognitive, emotional and social functioning. You will work with a group of assigned residents to ensure their interests are met and maximize their participation in programs. You will also help with resident trips and special events.

SECURITY OFFICER (per diem)
Inglis House has an exciting opportunity for a security officer to work on a per diem basis, every other weekend and every other holiday. The security officer provides for the safety of all Inglis residents, staff and property of Inglis House by enforcing all Federal, state and local laws and all facility policies and procedures relating to a safe and secure environment for both staff and residents. As a security officer, you will control access to the facility by visual identification of personnel access system and respond to all emergencies and unusual situations including any type of alarms, maintenance problems or safety hazards. You will conduct security investigations and interviews and monitor residents in the smoking lounge to insure safety and policy compliance. Additionally, you will operate telephone and in-house paging systems, record all unusual activities, conduct tours of facility to insure safety and security, complete daily activity and incident reports. A high school diploma is required for this position along with a minimum of three years experience, or a 235 Certification, and valid Pennsylvania driver's license.
