INGLIS FOUNDATION NAMES SANKEY V. WILLIAMS, MD,
AS BOARD CHAIR AND ELECTS FIVE NEW DIRECTORS
(Philadelphia, PA) – Inglis Foundation, the non-profit organization that serves people with physical disabilities, has named Sankey V. Williams, MD, as Chairman of the Board of Directors and has elected five new Directors to its Board.
Sankey V. Williams, MD, joined the Inglis Board in 2007. He is Sol Katz Professor of General Internal Medicine and former Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. He holds a secondary appointment as Professor of Healthcare Management in the Wharton Business School. He and his wife, former Pennsylvania State Senator Connie Williams, reside in Haverford, PA.
Newly-elected Board Directors:
- Gail Egan, a registered nurse, has held senior positions at a number of Delaware Valley hospitals and currently provides consulting services to clients in the healthcare and nonprofit industry. In addition to independent consulting, she is the Healthcare Business Practice Leader for J. F. Smith & Associates, Ft. Washington, PA.
- Roy S. Diamond is a real estate development advisor in affordable housing and community revitalization. In addition, he provides property management services in the affordable housing industry for 1,400 apartments throughout Pennsylvania. He resides in Philadelphia.
- Juliet J. Goodfriend, who served on the Inglis Board of Directors from 2001 to 2005, is founder and president of the Bryn Mawr Film Institute, which she created to preserve, restore and transform this historic theater into a film exhibition and film study center. She makes her home in Penn Valley, PA.
- James G. Logue is currently a shareholder in the law firm of McCausland, Keen & Buckman (Radnor, PA) which he joined in 1987. At Inglis Foundation, Mr. Logue has been chair and vice chair of the Annual Giving Campaign and a member of the A-May-Zing and Golf Committees. He holds a Juris Doctor from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Arts in history from Yale University. Mr. Logue lives in Rosemont, PA.
- Suzanne Rotondo is Executive Director of Teleos Leadership Institute, Elkins Park, PA, and a consultant and executive coach to senior leaders in the private and public sectors. She has more than 15 years experience as a newspaper publisher, non-fiction book editor and writer. She lives in the Mount Airy section of Philadelphia.
