MARJORIE HARDING PROMOTED TO
DIRECTOR OF NURSING AT INGLIS HOUSE

(Philadelphia, PA) – Marjorie Harding, RN, who joined Inglis House as a unit nurse manager nearly eight years ago, has been promoted to director of nursing. Inglis House is a residential home for people with severe physical disabilities.
Ms. Harding trained as a licensed practical nurse (Presbyterian Medical Center of the University of Pennsylvania) and earned an associates degree in nursing (Delaware County Community College), a bachelor of science in nursing (Hahnemann University Hospital) and certification in wound ostomy and continence nursing (LaSalle University).
She came to Inglis in 2000 as a unit nurse manager before becoming a community administrator. In March 2008, she received her Nursing Home Administrator license and was promoted to director of operations. Ms. Harding became director of nursing in June.
Asked about her goals for the nursing department, Ms. Harding replied, “I want to implement processes to continue improving accountability and the quality of resident care.”
Ms. Harding is pursuing an MBA in healthcare administration at Eastern University. She resides in Upper Darby, PA.
