Implements the clinical and technical aspects of resident care through monitoring to meet the daily individual needs of residents. Works within the framework of the Inglis House mission and values, emphasizing a team approach. Occupational Therapist

Keeping younger adults with physical disabilities as independent as possible is the main objective of the Inglis House rehabilitation program. We have an opening for an Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for the evaluation and treatment planning and implementation in accordance with physicians’ prescription, and fulfilling equipment needs for residents. The Occupational Therapist will also be responsible for staff training as it relates to resident program, in addition to training students and O.T. Aide. As a nursing supervisor, on either the 3pm – 11pm or the 11pm – 7am shift, you will also be responsible for making rounds to evaluate employee performance and nursing care being provided, offering nursing care when particular expertise is needed, supervising nursing staff units on assigned shift, and occasionally performing duties of administrative supervision.
