Timothy J. Murphy, NHA, has been appointed administrator of Inglis House, a specialty nursing care facility for 297 people with physical disabilities. Inglis House is one of several organizations providing services and products to adults with physical disabilities under Inglis Foundation, the non-profit parent corporation.

“We were impressed by Tim's commitment to providing the highest levels of quality care and service to the residents at the facilities where he has worked,” Inglis Foundation Chief Executive Officer Christopher Breen said. “Tim brings that same commitment to the residents of Inglis House, as well as a proven track record of implementing practical financial strategies that maintain quality, and a strong knowledge of the complex regulatory environment for nursing homes in Pennsylvania.”

Murphy has 19 years experience as an administrator of larger skilled nursing care facilities. Prior to his appointment at Inglis House, Murphy was administrator of the 150-bed Elkins Crest Health and Rehabilitation Center, Elkins Park, PA, a subsidiary of Extendicare Health Services.

Murphy holds a Nursing Home Administrator's License (NHA) in Massachusetts and Pennsylvania. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Social Services, from Westfield State College, Westfield, MA .
