DIRECTOR OF NURSING APPOINTED AT INGLIS HOUSE
Philadelphia, PA – Deborah Duncan, R.N., has been appointed director of nursing at Inglis House, a specialty nursing care facility for adults with physical disabilities.
In announcing her appointment, Inglis House Executive Director and Administrator Timothy Murphy, NHA, said Duncan will be responsible for the direction of the facility's nursing services including clinical care, staff development and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Previously, Duncan was director of nursing at Suburban Woods Health and Rehabilitation Center, Norristown, PA. She is a graduate of Roxborough Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia, PA.
Founded in Philadelphia in 1877, Inglis House is a specialty nursing care facility for 297 adults with physical disabilities. Services at Inglis House include long-term, rehabilitative medical and nursing care; physical, occupational and speech therapies; and social enrichment programs including computer and education therapy, vocational rehabilitation, therapeutic recreation and religious programs. All Inglis House programs are designed to maximize the independence of people with physical disabilities. |
