CAROLYN MORRIS ELECTED INGLIS HOUSE BOARD CHAIR
Philadelphia, PA – Carolyn Morris, Bryn Mawr, PA , has been elected Chair of the Inglis House Board, a non-profit specialty nursing care facility for adults with physical disabilities.
In this capacity, Morris will be responsible for setting strategic direction for Inglis House, which provides long-term rehabilitative medical and nursing care services to 297 adults with physical disabilities. Services and programs at Inglis House are designed to maximize the independence of residents.
Morris is a principal at Van Ness, a non-profit consulting firm, Bryn Mawr. She also sits on the Capital Campaign Committee at the Pathway Schools, Norristown , and served on the Finance and Campaign Steering Committees at Church of the Redeemer, Bryn Mawr. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia.
Founded in Philadelphia in 1877, Inglis House is a specialty nursing care facility for 297 adults with physical disabilities. Services at Inglis House include long-term, rehabilitative medical and nursing care; physical, occupational and speech therapies; and social enrichment programs including computer and education therapy, vocational rehabilitation, therapeutic recreation and religious programs. All Inglis House programs are designed to maximize the independence of people with physical disabilities.
Inglis Foundation works with people with physical disabilities to create and provide practical solutions so they may pursue their life goals. Services include long-term care, accessible housing, an adult day program, care management, durable medical equipment, attendant care services and community employment.
