Connections Day Program

Virtual Connections

Inglis is now offering Inglis Virtual Connections – a chance to participate in a Virtual Day Program.

Inglis Virtual Connections (IVC) can offer an invaluable service during this time, where isolation and anxiety are widespread. Inglis can help rekindle connections with friends, answer medical questions, and support overall wellness.

IVC Schedule:

What:

  • Inglis Virtual Connections will include:
    • Socialization and Therapeutic Activities – Our staff will provide a series of remote activities that address participants’ need for interaction, engagement, and activity.
      • Methods for delivering remote activities may include using Skype, Google Meet, Zoom, FaceTime, smartphones, electronic or computer tablets, computers, or other modalities.
      • We will engage participants with individual and group activities including stretching activities, games, educational activities, arts and crafts, as well as interventions to promote individual orientation of person, time, and place.
    • Remote Monitoring/Wellness Checks – IVC will call participants and conduct wellness checks to ensure the health and well-being of each participant. Wellness Checks will be made based on the participant’s needs and we will put them in touch with Service Coordinators or Community Resources as needed.
      • Overall health status, including emotional well-being, need for care, and any signs or symptoms of illness
      • Meals, routines, and medication adherence
      • Social isolation and self-quarantine, including the availability/use of informal supports and access to groceries or emergency supplies
    • Remote Nursing Services – remote nursing services may be conducted individually by a licensed nurse by phone or via a secured, HIPAA-compliant web-based platform.
