Throught the hard work and efforts of many disabiltiy advocates, especially, the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD), the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission voted to enact a 30 cent surcharge to help cover the costs of the transition.  We hope many more cities follow and move to 100% accessibility soon.  Read the full AAPD press release here.
