Fifty Percent of NYC Taxis to be Accessible by 2020

Throught the hard work and efforts of many disabiltiy advocates, especially, the American Association of People with Disabilities (AAPD), the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission voted to enact a 30 cent surcharge to help cover the costs of the transition.
