Inglis is enriched by those who contribute their time, energy and talents to our community. There are many ways to get involved. Our volunteer program welcomes those who wish to use their skills and interests to enhance quality of life for residents and participants in the Inglis Community. Employers are encouraged to learn more about community employment services and discover how hiring a person with a disability can help you achieve your business goals. We continually seek new relationships with individuals and organizations who wish to join in our efforts to fulfill our mission of enabling people with disabilities — and those who care for them — to achieve their goals and live life to the fullest. Join us.
Volunteers provide an extra dimension of care in the lives of Inglis clients. Most volunteers spend their time at Inglis House, where there are many ways to get involved and make a difference. If you are 16 or over, there are volunteer opportunities available year-round, seven days a week, during the day and in the evening. Many high school and college volunteers visit Inglis House during the school year to complete community service projects, perform and assist with holiday events.

Inglis works with many outside organizations that also serve the needs of people with disabilities in the areas of health care, housing, employment, education, formal and informal supports, recreation, socialization or transportation — either through provision of services or products, or with advocacy activities. Partnerships like these enable both organizations to expand the reach of their services and programs by not replicating services.
