Inglis Celebrates The 2012 ACE Awards Recipients

The Inglis Board of Directors announced the winners of the 2012 Inglis Awards for Continuing Excellence (ACE). The Awards program honors the outstanding performance of non-profit organizations in the Philadelphia region that enhance the quality of life for people with physical disabilities, and by doing so support the Inglis mission.

The Awards are unrestricted grants which reflect and reward past performance. Thus, award funds may be used at the discretion of the recipient organizations. Within one year following the receipt of the Award, winners are to provide a one page report on how they utilized the funds.

Four organizations will each receive a $12,500 award as 2012 ACE Recipients:

  • HelpHOPELive™ (formerly National Transplant Assistance Fund, Inc.)
  • LCD (Legal Clinic for the Disabled, Inc.)
  • MossRehab Aphasia Center
  • Self-Determination Housing Project

The award winners were honored at a ceremony at Inglis House, Philadelphia, PA, on May 15, 2012. According to Inglis Awards for Continuing Excellence Review Committee Chairman Suzanne Rotondo, “The Awards Review Committee salutes the high caliber work and unique ways of meeting the needs of people with physical disabilities presented by this year’s recipients.  The winning organizations’ commitment to helping this under-served population is truly impressive.”
