Celebrating the 2026 Family Council Resident Staff Awards

Resident Council, Staff, and Awardees gather together.
The Inglis House Family Council recently recognized four exceptional team members with the 2026 Family Council Resident Staff Awards, celebrating the compassion, dedication, and care they bring to residents every day.
Initiated by Inglis House residents, funded through Family Council bake sales, and chosen through popular vote by residents, the awards honor staff members who consistently go “above and beyond” in supporting residents and their families. Each honoree received a small monetary award along with a framed photo card featuring heartfelt comments from residents about the impact they make.
This year’s award recipients are:
- Heather Brooks, recognized as thoughtful, detail-oriented, and deeply committed through more than 25 years of service.
- Comfort Davies, celebrated for being enduring, consistent, and always willing to take on even the toughest tasks with grace and steadiness.
- Linda Roseman, praised for being ingenious, resourceful, energetic, and known for excellent follow-through.
- Jim Herten, recognized as hardworking, dependable, funny, and a valued long-term employee who always “gets it done.”
“Please join us in recognizing and thanking them for caring so much for us in our times of need,” shared Ru Amagasu on behalf of the Inglis House Family Council.
Congratulations and thank you to all four honorees for the extraordinary care and support you provide to the Inglis House community every day. The Family Council looks forward to holding another bake sale in June 2026.
