Occupational Health and Safety
Inglis’ occupational health & wellness staff are key members of Human Resources.
They provide pre-employment health assessments, and monitor the health of all employees throughout the year. They provide frequent in-services and educational sessions on wellness and safety including healthy life styles, infection prevention and hand washing.
They handle all workers compensation claims and issues. And, they work closely with Inglis’ Safety Committee to help staff identify and prevent injuries and illness. Safety Committee members analyze worksites and living spaces throughout Inglis to identify and eliminate existing hazards and help train staff in proper lifting, carrying and other important safety issues.
