Disability in the News

As election day approaches, we all should do our civic duty and be involved in the electoral process.  Regardless of party affiliation or candidate favored, the right to vote is a vital one.  And often, the ability to act on that right is made difficult for or is completely denied to people with disabilities.

Here are two recent stories discussing this important issue - one from National Public Radio's website (NPR.org) and the other is from the Center for Investigative Reporting's website, Reveal (revealnews.org).  Links will open new windows.
