Where Your Support is Needed Now
Thank you for contributing to our mission to empower people with disabilities to live life to the fullest. We are incredibly grateful for your support in making a meaningful impact on the lives of the individuals we serve. Choose the fund that resonates with you the most, and together, let's create a more inclusive and empowered community.
You may also designate your donation to the greatest area of need, and we’ll assign your donation to The Ability Fund, which supports Inglis in addressing the most pressing needs of our community. Thank you for considering Inglis as a beneficiary of your generosity.
Friends of Inglis House: The Friends of Inglis House is a special fund that goes where it is needed most to support the ongoing care and support of the people who call Inglis House “home.” Donations made to this fund directly contribute to the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. Your generosity helps provide essential resources that ensure a well-rounded quality of life.
Inglis Assistive Tech Solutions: Provides customized, goals-based assistive technology services for people with disabilities and older adults who are seeking to increase independence, social engagement, or life management through technology.
Assistive technology (AT) is any low, mid, or high-tech tool, piece of equipment, software program, or system used to increase, maintain, or improve a person's ability to navigate their world more independently. AT can be anything from an angled stand for a keyboard to voice recognition software and everything in between. At Inglis, we include education related to software programs and internet use and safety also part of what Assistive Technology services can provide.
Therapeutic & Life Enrichment Services: This fund focuses on enhancing the quality of life for our residents at Inglis House by providing therapeutic and life-enriching activities. Your donation can support various programs such as art therapy, music therapy, recreational activities and social events, resident trips, and educational opportunities. These experiences help individuals with disabilities flourish and discover new passions.
Home Modifications for Independence: The Inglis Independence at Home Fund addresses the challenge of accessibility at home for individuals with disabilities. This fund is used for extensive home modifications, assistive technology, and the repairs needed to eliminate barriers to independence. Inglis believes that financial resources, disability-competent providers, and access to assistive technology are crucial in enabling individuals with disabilities to live independently at home.
Inglis House Resident Council: Led by residents, the Council gives those who live at Inglis a voice in shaping their community. Donations support activities chosen by residents—such as pizza parties, ice cream socials, and staff appreciation efforts that boost morale and support retention. Every gift enriches daily life at Inglis for both residents and staff.
